For the dry cough that will not quit — a throat that feels parched, a little sticky phlegm that is hard to bring up, sometimes a dry mouth and a stomach that rebels upward. Ophiopogon moistens the lung and stomach; a small measure of pinellia turns the rising qi back down; ginseng, jujube and licorice rebuild.

Take four to six capsules with water, two to three times daily, or as directed by your practitioner.
