For heat that has nowhere to go — red, irritated eyes, a bitter taste, ear pain, a short temper, and burning or discharge in the lower body. Gentian root leads a cooling formula that drains liver fire and damp-heat downward and out, with rehmannia and angelica to protect the yin while it works. A strong formula, meant for a short course.

- Dang Gui (jiu) — Chinese angelica root, wine-processed
- Sheng Di Huang — Raw rehmannia root
- Chai Hu — Bupleurum root
- Gan Cao (mi) — Honey-fried licorice root
Concentrated 5:1 water extract; 100 capsules per bottle.
How to use
How to use
Take four capsules with water, two to three times daily, or as directed by your practitioner. One bottle holds 100 capsules — roughly ten days at the standard dose.
Also made as granules, for the same formula in a different form.
