Ao Yi Tea + Corydalis Relief Salve · nerve pain, inside and out
Topicals are fast but limited to what crosses the skin. Internal herbs reach the pathways a salve never will, but work slowly. Nerve pain tends to need both. This pairs a thousand-year-old Tibetan tea with a topical salve, and because both are built around Yan Hu Suo they reinforce each other rather than overlap.
- Corydalis in both. Yan Hu Suo acts on dopamine and opiate receptors without tolerance or dependence.
- Du Yi Wei internally. The cornerstone of Tibetan pain medicine, for stagnation and damp obstruction in the joints.
- Gentle on the stomach. No menthol, no camphor, no medicinal smell — an alternative when over-the-counter options are hard on digestion.

- Yan Hu Suo — Corydalis: acts on dopamine and opiate receptors
- Bai Zhi — Angelica dahurica: for head, face, neck and shoulder pain
Corydalis Relief Salve — topical
- Yan Hu Suo — Corydalis, the shared herb
- Frankincense, myrrh, copaiba, arnica — anti-inflammatory botanicals
- Lavender and palmarosa — a soft floral scent instead of a medicinal one
- Coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E — the base
The tea is taken internally. The salve is external use only.
How to use
How to use
Drink the Ao Yi Tea as directed, ideally at the same times each day — the internal side works on accumulation, so consistency matters more than dose.
Apply the Corydalis Relief Salve directly to the painful area as often as needed. The two are designed to be used together rather than alternated.
