当归芍药散 · Dang Gui Shao Yao San · Herbal tea, 30 bags

A tea for the woman whose cycle brings cramping, swelling and a dull ache low in the abdomen, and whose digestion runs damp and sluggish in between. Copeia is the Golden Cabinet's Dang Gui Shao Yao San made for brewing — angelica, peony and chuanxiong to nourish and move the blood, atractylodes, poria and alisma to drain the damp that keeps it heavy.

  • Freshly harvested chuanxiong from Dujiangyan, Sichuan — the herb's best growing region.
  • Whole herbs, ground and sieved for even brewing, then UV-sterilised before packing.
  • Pattern. Liver–spleen disharmony; blood deficiency with dampness.

Ingredients

  • Shao Yao — Peony root
  • Fu Ling — Poria
  • Bai Zhu — White atractylodes rhizome
  • Ze Xie — Alisma rhizome
  • Chuan Xiong — Chuanxiong rhizome
  • Sha Ren — Amomum fruit

Net weight 150 g, 30 tea bags. No preservatives.

How to use

Place one or two tea bags in a mug and add a cup of boiling water. Cover and wait two minutes for the first brew, one minute more for each brew after. Re-brew the same bags through the day until the flavour fades.

Additive- and preservative-free. Store cool, dry and out of sunlight; if the vacuum seal is broken, do not use. Refrigerate after opening and finish within a month.
