A quiet, steady formula from the Golden Cabinet for the woman whose cycle brings cramping, swelling and a dull abdominal ache, and whose digestion runs damp and sluggish between times. Angelica, peony and chuanxiong nourish and move the blood; atractylodes, poria and alisma drain the damp that keeps it heavy.
